We are excited to announce a new GoodVision Video Insights release! This update introduces several significant changes and improvements to enhance your user experience and streamline your workflows. Below, you will find detailed descriptions of these changes.

New way how to organise data sources

  • Locations are now folders: To provide a better structure for your data sources, what were previously called "Locations" are now simply just "Folders".

  • Unlimited folder structure: You can now create folders within your existing folders, similar to the existing functionality in Storage. This allows for more granular organization of your data sources.

  • Data Sources directly in project root: Data sources can now be created directly within a project without needing to create a location or select some folder first. You can always move them to the appropriate Folder later as needed.

New Map section

  • All Data Sources in one view: The new map section allows you to see all data sources from a single project in one map view. This includes data sources from all folders and subfolders, providing a comprehensive spatial overview of your project data.

  • Geolocation is now required for Data Sources: When creating a new data source, entering geolocation information is now mandatory. This ensures that all data sources are properly geo-referenced for better data management and analysis.

Improved Storage experience

  • Video Storage is now renamed to Storage: The section previously known as "Video Storage" is now simply "Storage".

  • Better side panel UX: The user experience of working with the side panel has been enhanced for greater ease of use.

  • Total number of files in folder: The file table header now also shows the total number of all files in that folder.

Improvement when working with a large number of files

  • Selecting Multiple Files at Once: If you wish to select the first 10 files from a folder containing 50 files, you can now simply select the first file, hold shift, and click on the last file. All the files between your selection will be selected as well.

These changes are designed to improve your experience and make managing your projects more efficient. We hope you find these enhancements beneficial. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.
